The November twilight session will focus on effective revision strategies – particularly relevant as we move into mock examination season. Parental engagement

The January twilight session will focus on evidence-informed strategies for improving involvement of parents in supporting their children’s academic learning and will be linked to the forthcoming EEF ‘Parental Engagement’ guidance report. Developing Metacognition and Memory

Developing metacognitive skills is proven to impact upon pupils’ academic attainment: but what exactly are these skills and how do we support the development of them? This brand new 4-day training course, developed and planned by EEF and the Research Schools network, will provide schools with an overview of the evidence and practical strategies to take away. Improving Secondary Science

Based on the findings of the new EEF Science guidance report, this 3-day training programme explores the report’s recommendations in details looking at the evidence behind the report and practical ways of using it to improve science teaching in your school.
